#MeToo/ThesaurasShamed! Years ago, working as a technical writer (way out of my league), I was told never to consult the thesaurus. Thank-you Susan Orlean, I am now out of the closet. I thesaurus all the time, even if I don't like the choices, it loosens up hidden vocabulary---kind of like a oh-whatchamacallit---ah yes, solvent.
